Dhebewadi Forest (Vanashektra)
- One of the biggest forest of 'sag'- teak wood in Western Maharashtra.
At a distance of 7 kms. from Dhebewadi at 'Ghotil' is a jungle
of teak wood which is one of the biggest in Western Maharashtra.The
teak wood here is of a very good quality.
- Bamboo - You will find Bamboo trees in abundance at Nivi,Kasni,
and Patharpunj.
- Medicinal Herbs - Hirda,Beheda,Shikakai,Navkhya,Kuda etc. are
the medicinal plants found in this forest.
- Other Herbs - Kijal,Ain,Shivan,Kuj,Sag, etc. are the other herbs
found here.
- Sag jungle - From Dhebewadi to Salve and from Dhebewadi to Jinthi
Kalgaon you will find Sag jungle.
- Wild Animals - In the Dhebewadi / Valmiki forest you will find
wild animals such as Pathers,Foxes,Wild Pigs,Wild Cats,Bears,Tigers
etc.
